International Shipment of Trophies

For your convenience we will prepare personal laminated shipping tags for you to attach to your hides, horns and skulls for shipment to Parsons Taxidermy. They will help in keeping your trophies properly identified. IMPORTANT: Any warthog parts (skins, capes, skulls and/or tusks) should be crated separately from any other animal to avoid additional shipping charges.

All shipments originating outside the concintntal U. S. must enter the U. S. through a port of entry. You should use Dallas, TX of Chicago, IL as port of entry for your shipment if possible.

International shipments should be sent freight collect. We will contact you on arrival of your shipment so you may pay the freight company propmtly, avoiding storage charges.

Once your shipment has entered a port of entry a customs broker will clear the shipment through U. S. Customs, U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the U. S. Department of Agriculture. Please instruct your hunter or outfitter that an EXPORT PERMIT must be obtained from the country of origin. It shoud list all specimens being shipped. Lists should include scienbtific name as well as the common name for each animal. Also all endangered animals must be accompanied by a VETERINARIAN'S CERTIFICATE and a CITIES PERMIT from the country of origin. For air shipments, copies of these documents should be attached to the Air Bill, and another set should be securely attached to the crate or package.
